Support students’ communication and language development needs while working in a dynamic educational setting as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. Collaborate with dedicated educators and impact the lives of children across multiple grade levels, from early childhood through high school.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children in Pre-K, Kindergarten, Elementary (K-5), Middle (6-8), and High School (9-12) settings
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support diverse student needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with documentation and IEP processes for school-based therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer speech and language screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Deliver direct therapy services in group and individual settings for students from early childhood through high school
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal-setting and progress reporting
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student support and carryover of skills
- Maintain thorough records and documentation in accordance with school and regulatory policies
