Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Strong experience with pediatric populations, including early childhood through adolescent development
- Previous experience working in school settings highly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students from Pre-K through Grade 12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and help develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services while adapting techniques for diverse student populations
