Pediatric High School School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lacey, Washington

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Prior experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations
- Comfortable serving a variety of student ages, including early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and the ability to participate in multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for different developmental levels and classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess speech and language needs of students from pre-K through grade 12
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with school and state standards
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to support student goals and progress
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Deliver both individual and small group interventions, adapting techniques for diverse learning needs
- Monitor students’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
