Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working with early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students
- Familiarity with crafting and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Ability to administer assessments and develop targeted intervention plans
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Screen, assess, and diagnose students’ speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Develop and implement individualized therapy sessions catered to each student’s needs
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to integrate language goals into the classroom
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP and parent meetings
- Provide guidance and resources to families to support speech and language development at home
- Foster a nurturing, positive, and inclusive environment for all students
