Key Requirements:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
- Demonstrated experience with students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic strategies for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to work with IEP teams and participate in the development of individualized educational plans
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
What You'll Do:
- Assess and evaluate students for speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and deliver tailored therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in group formats
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure cohesive support for each student
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy methods as needed
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families to reinforce therapy goals outside of sessions
- Contribute to IEP meetings and assist with compliance for students receiving services
