Required qualifications and experience:
- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current New Jersey SLP license
- Teaching Certification in NJ
- ASHA CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience working within a school, pediatric, or healthcare setting
- Strong skills in evaluating and treating a range of communication disorders
- Commitment to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy to students in Grades 4–8
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing detailed IEPs
- Collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress
- Maintaining timely, organized records and documentation
- Delivering therapy tailored to the unique developmental needs of each age group
- Offering support and guidance for classroom language strategies
