Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for clinical fellowship year
- Hold, or be eligible for, a state license for Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience working in schools preferred, but not required
- Comfortable with virtual therapy platforms and telepractice technology
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver speech and language intervention services in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Collaborate closely with IEP teams, teachers, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and input to guide student support
- Utilize evidence-based therapy methods tailored to each student’s needs
