Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders.
- Travel regularly to satellite school locations in rural areas within the district to deliver assessments, treatment, and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress in accordance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success planning.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working within school settings preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel to multiple rural sites regularly.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills tailored to pediatric populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school staff.
Location: Lakebay, Washington—with regular travel to satellite schools in surrounding rural areas.
