A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Lakebay, WA, offering the chance to work within a school setting while traveling to satellite locations serving rural areas. Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders.
  • Travel regularly to satellite school locations in rural areas within the district to deliver assessments, treatment, and progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress in accordance with district and state guidelines.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success planning.

Qualifications:

  • Current state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working within school settings preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to multiple rural sites regularly.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills tailored to pediatric populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school staff.

Location: Lakebay, Washington—with regular travel to satellite schools in surrounding rural areas.

This role offers the satisfaction of serving diverse student populations while providing the flexibility and variety of working across multiple locations. The position is contract-to-hire, providing an opportunity for long-term employment based on performance.
