Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license or ability to obtain quickly
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Comfort with independent travel between school sites
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse student populations and collaborate with educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students at various school sites
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized plans to address a range of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff for holistic student care
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
- Offer consultative services and professional development to educational staff
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the needs of students in rural educational environments
