Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives serving as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic school environment near Sumner, WA. Two contract opportunities are available for the 2026-2027 school year: a full academic year position and a maternity leave coverage starting in September with the potential to extend. Both roles offer a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours, a dedicated 45-student caseload, and the support of a collaborative team in elementary school settings.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Active Washington state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Passion for fostering growth and inclusion for all students
  • Candidates must be fully qualified SLPs; SLPA credentials are not accepted for these positions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Provide direct therapy in accordance with IEP goals and collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers
  • Document progress and maintain up-to-date records for compliance and review
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to developing effective educational strategies
  • Advocate for student progress and participate in school-wide initiatives supporting student success
