Experience the fulfillment of supporting students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite in a vibrant TK-12 district. This contract position spans the academic year, serving a diverse student population within both an elementary and high school setting. With a focus on fostering communication growth, your expertise will make a meaningful difference for caseloads representing all levels of need—from general education through moderate/severe disabilities.

As an SLP in this district, you’ll engage with students at Rosamond Elementary (TK-5th grade) and a high school campus (9th-12th grade). Up to 60 students may fill your caseload, offering the opportunity for ongoing professional growth and rewarding challenges in both early and secondary education environments. Emphasizing a collaborative, onsite presence, your work will play a critical role alongside educators and families throughout the school year.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience providing speech therapy in a school or similar setting preferred
  • Knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Skill working with a full range of student needs, from general education to moderate/severe disabilities
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
  • California licensure or eligibility required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services onsite to assigned caseload
  • Develop and implement effective IEP goals aligned to student needs and grade levels
  • Conduct assessments and progress monitoring for TK-12th grade students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
  • Maintain thorough and timely records
