Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold current SLP-CCC credentials and eligibility for California licensure
- Previous experience working with preschool caseloads; school-based background preferred
- Familiarity with AAC devices and intervention for mild to moderate needs, as well as some severe needs
- Experience with California Medicaid (Paradigm) processes is highly valued
- Certificate of Clearance (COC) required prior to start
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to preschool students
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Utilize AAC devices as needed for individualized support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive team environment
- Engage in ongoing communication and consultation with school personnel and caregivers
