Step into a rewarding school-based speech-language pathology opportunity, supporting both elementary and middle school students onsite. Qualifications/Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active California SLP license (CCC-SLP)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with school-aged children, ideally in both elementary and middle settings
- Strong skills in evaluation, treatment planning, IEP development, and therapy implementation
- Must be able to work onsite at designated school locations (not a remote or virtual position)
- SLPA credentials are not accepted for this role
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Dedication to fostering student progress and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to student support teams
- Document student progress and maintain up-to-date records according to school and district guidelines
- Serve as a resource to educators and families, promoting inclusive communication strategies
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of both elementary and middle school caseloads
