What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Open to experienced SLPs and strong, motivated new graduates
- Experience or interest in working within an elementary school environment
- Knowledge of best practices for evaluating and treating speech/language disorders in school populations
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and providing direct speech/language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to solution-focused team discussions
