You’ll support students as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, with the chance to collaborate closely and help young learners reach their full potential. Caseload specifics and assigned schools will be tailored to your experience and discussed during the interview process.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current Florida Department of Health Provisional SLP License (required)
- Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and documentation in educational settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to support students across varying age groups and developmental stages
- Commitment to on-site services only; virtual or remote options are not available
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language services according to IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers, families, and related service staff to optimize student outcomes
- Adapt intervention approaches to meet the diverse needs of your caseload
- Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
