A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based services. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language support within an educational setting in Oak Harbor, WA.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students to identify communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and compliance with school regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student education plans (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure and eligibility to practice in a school setting.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools or similar environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students, families, and educators.
- Knowledge of current speech-language pathology assessment tools and intervention strategies.
