Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license, including Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience delivering SLP services in a school setting strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of IEP processes and special education documentation
- Confidence conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs, tailored to their IEPs
- Conduct screenings and progress monitoring, maintaining accurate records throughout the ESY session
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized communication strategies
- Engage with families to support student learning and progress towards their communication goals
- Foster an inclusive and positive therapeutic environment for all program participants
