Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license and DESE certification required
- Recent school-based experience, ideally within elementary (K-4) populations
- Availability for full-time placement (37.5 hours per week)
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, IEP documentation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families
- Passion for working with young children with a variety of disabilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services and conduct screenings/evaluations for elementary students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and administration to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development sessions
- Support students’ communication needs across classroom and school environments
