Requirements and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Georgia
- Experience working in schools or pediatric settings highly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and school staff
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set measurable therapy goals
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student outcomes
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments, progress notes, and related paperwork
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for strategies and accommodations
- Engage in professional development activities to stay current in the field
