Ideal candidates will possess:
- Active North Carolina SLP License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Prior experience in school settings is a plus, but not required
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners
Your role will include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy to students according to IEP goals
- Conducting evaluations and assessments using evidence-based practices
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective strategies
- Maintaining thorough documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and supporting students’ progress across elementary, middle, or high school settings
This is a 35-hour per week position, offered Monday through Friday, allowing you to achieve a strong work-life balance throughout the school year.
