Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist and help middle and high school students thrive. This is an on-site, full-time position working at one dedicated school location, starting July 27, 2026, and ending May 28, 2027. The anticipated caseload ranges from 45 to 55 students, with details to be confirmed prior to your start.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Georgia State SLP license, and eligibility for GA PSC credential (new requirement)
- ASHA certification in good standing
- Recent experience in a school-based setting (middle or high school preferred)
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting and drug screening
- Commitment to on-site services (teletherapy was not approved for this role)
- SLPAs are not eligible for this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse student caseload
- Conduct assessments, write IEP goals, and participate in meetings with school teams and families
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to facilitate student progress
- Support communication goals and facilitate a positive, inclusive learning environment
