Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students with suspected or identified speech and language disorders impacting academic performance
- Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs), tailoring interventions to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language therapy in the school environment
- Maintain thorough documentation, reporting, and compliance with school and regulatory protocols
- Take an active part in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families, sharing tailored recommendations to promote student success
- Continuously monitor progress, adjusting strategies to maximize student outcomes
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia (or eligible to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, though applicants in Clinical Fellowship are welcome
- School-based experience is valuable; candidates with pediatric backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
