Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students with suspected or identified speech and language disorders impacting academic performance
  • Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs), tailoring interventions to each student’s unique needs
  • Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language therapy in the school environment
  • Maintain thorough documentation, reporting, and compliance with school and regulatory protocols
  • Take an active part in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families, sharing tailored recommendations to promote student success
  • Continuously monitor progress, adjusting strategies to maximize student outcomes

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia (or eligible to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, though applicants in Clinical Fellowship are welcome
  • School-based experience is valuable; candidates with pediatric backgrounds are encouraged to apply
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
