This full-time, school-based contract position is designed for a compassionate and highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist eager to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will empower students to overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students demonstrating communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies and IEP goals
- Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language therapy aligned with student requirements
- Maintain precise documentation, progress updates, and compliance files
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and collaborative team discussions
- Partner closely with teachers, administrators, occupational therapists, psychologists, and families
- Offer recommendations and strategies to support student performance in the classroom
- Continuously monitor student outcomes and adapt interventions to best support progress
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Georgia SLP license and/or relevant educator certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; strong CF candidates also considered
- Prior experience in school settings preferred; applicants with relevant pediatric experience welcomed
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative abilities
