Anticipated to begin during an upcoming maternity leave, you’ll work weekdays from 9:00 am to 4:40 pm, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Holds a current, valid SLP license, with CCC preferred
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience, especially in autism programs, strongly valued
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
- Ability to provide a wide range of diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services
- Demonstrated skill in developing individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in the school’s autism program
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and write evaluation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and help design meaningful communication goals
- Offer strategies to staff and families to promote student success across settings
