Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Kansas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are strongly encouraged to apply
- Prior experience working in a school setting is advantageous but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both students and colleagues
- Ability to support diverse learners across a range of needs and grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments and participate in the development of IEPs and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams in supporting student growth
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Deliver both individual and group therapy, adapting interventions to meet students’ unique needs
