We are seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists for full-time maternity leave coverage in high-need school settings. Your expertise will make a significant impact for students in environments with substantial Autism and preschool populations, spanning kindergarten through 5th grade. This 12-week position starts in September 2026 and offers 35+ hours per week of meaningful, onsite work.
What You’ll Bring:
- Active NJ Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Valid NJ Speech-Language Specialist (SLS) Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome but must secure outside supervision
- Previous experience with pediatric, Autism, or preschool caseloads is highly valued
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between two elementary campuses as needed
- Commitment to providing all services onsite
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students from K–5th grade
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to address the needs of a high Autism population
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track student progress
- Maintain clear documentation aligned with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and effectively communicate with families and stakeholders
