Multiple positions are available for Speech-Language Pathologists with either Clinical Fellowship (CF) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) credentials. You'll have the chance to start—or continue—your school-based SLP career in a supportive environment known for offering renewals and being especially welcoming for new CFs.
Ideal Background & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active SLP license or eligibility for licensure in South Carolina
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates are both encouraged to apply
- Pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical training considered
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative approach with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of K-12 students within the school district
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized IEP goals
- Deliver evidence-based therapy (individual and group)
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain clear records and monitor student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
