Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Current and active SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) highly valued
- Prior school-based SLP experience, especially with high school populations, is preferred
- Bilingual abilities are a plus but not mandatory
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, intervention, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) aligned with students’ needs and educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports for assigned caseload
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute your expertise
- Offer guidance to staff and families about speech-language development and resources
