As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year, you’ll work closely with students, educators, and families to help students achieve their full potential. Qualifications:
- Current Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist license is required
- Prior experience in school settings preferred, but strong clinical candidates considered
- Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs across grade levels
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and write progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and support staff
- Provide direct and consultative services that support academic achievement and social development
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Engage families in the therapy process and offer strategies for home support
