What You'll Bring:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Proven experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity working with elementary-age student populations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing a caseload of approximately 40 elementary students requiring speech and language support
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths
- Developing and implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Providing both direct and consultative/indirect speech-language therapy services
- Collaborating closely with special education teams, classroom teachers, school administrators, and families to ensure cohesive student support
- Maintaining detailed and compliant documentation and progress reporting
This is a fully onsite role for the entire 2026–2027 academic year, with a consistent full-time schedule (40 hours per week). You’ll play an essential role in students' academic and social development, working within an enthusiastic and resourceful team.
