Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Irvine, California

Two opportunities are currently open:
- One position starts as soon as possible and may continue through March 2027, potentially extending through the school year.
- A second, short-term assignment runs October 26, 2026 through December 18, 2026—ideal for those seeking a focused contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough screenings, evaluations, and assessments for a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders within a school setting.
- Design and implement effective, individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Deliver targeted, direct speech and language therapy services to students on your assigned caseload.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster the best possible outcomes for every student.
- Participate in team meetings, allocate indirect service and planning time efficiently, and document student progress with accuracy and attention to compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license or credential.
- Prior experience in school-based settings and familiarity with pediatric K-12 caseloads.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative educational environment.
- Successful completion of all required background checks and fingerprinting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
