Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a current Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP-CCC) valid in South Carolina
- School-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
- Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with students, staff, and caregivers
- Commitment to best practices and continuing professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized educational plans for students
- Provide targeted interventions and therapy in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each child’s success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and comply with district/state regulations
- Adapt service delivery as needed based on student needs and caseload requirements
