Step into a dynamic speech-language pathology role supporting students from early childhood up through high school in an engaging school environment near Inver Grove Heights, MN. This rewarding contract position spans from August 24, 2026, through approximately March 31, 2026, with a weekly commitment of 40 hours. You'll have the unique opportunity to collaboratively support a team of SLPs, rotating your focus as needed from K-5 to 9-12th grade populations, as several colleagues take leave throughout the academic year.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Current or pending SLP licensure required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Skill in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication, speech, and language disorders in students from ECSE-12th grade
- Excellent organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of 45-50 students
- Rotate between K-5 and 9-12 caseloads as coverage needs arise during the year
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and participate in eligibility and progress meetings with educational teams and families
- Document interventions, progress, and compliance in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Work effectively alongside educators, school staff, and other SLPs to promote student success
