Your main emphasis will be conducting thorough evaluations for approximately 50–70 students, ensuring each individual receives tailored support. You'll collaborate closely with another skilled SLP, particularly focusing on nonverbal life skills students, as well as partnering with other speech-language professionals to craft the most effective interventions.
Qualifications we value:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Indiana
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Demonstrated school-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Strong background in performing comprehensive evaluations
- Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with students who have diverse needs, including life skills caseloads
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments for students across grade levels
- Interpret evaluation results and contribute to eligibility and planning meetings
- Collaborate alongside other SLPs to provide cohesive services and share insights
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations and services
- Communicate regularly with educators and support staff to foster student success
