Step into a vital role supporting students' communication needs at a welcoming school near Indianapolis, IN. In this contract position, you'll deliver essential speech-language services with your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC. From August 3, 2026, through June 1, 2027, you'll work onsite 37.5 hours each week in close collaboration with another dedicated SLP, focusing on the evaluation and support of approximately 50–70 students.
In this position, your primary focus will be conducting thorough evaluations, with increased collaboration for students requiring support with nonverbal life skills. You’ll have the opportunity to build relationships, share knowledge with other professionals, and make a lasting impact on your caseload.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and active SLP license for the state of Indiana
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong background in evaluations and collaborative practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for K–12 students
- Work closely with another SLP to address individualized needs of nonverbal students
- Develop evaluation reports and provide recommendations for services
- Collaborate with educational staff to implement strategies and supports
