This role is based onsite, providing direct interaction and support to a diverse student population (approximately 50–70 students) from August 3, 2026, through June 1, 2027. Your core responsibility will be to conduct thorough evaluations and closely partner with another SLP to address the unique needs of nonverbal life skills students, fostering meaningful communication progress.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Indiana SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology, particularly with evaluations
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team-focused environment
- Familiarity working with nonverbal and life skills student populations is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive speech-language assessments for students, focusing on accurate and actionable results
- Collaborate with fellow SLP staff to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide support primarily through evaluations, with an emphasis on working together toward shared objectives
- Maintain detailed student records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
- Communicate findings and recommendations to educational staff and families to optimize student success
