School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Shelbyville, Indiana

This onsite, contract position enables you to provide vital speech-language services to a diverse student population in a supportive educational environment near Indianapolis. Enjoy the fulfillment of collaborating with another experienced SLP and work closely with approximately 50–70 students, including those focused on nonverbal life skills.
In this role, your main priority will be conducting evaluations and working collaboratively with fellow SLP staff. Your insights and professional guidance will support student success and positively impact their communication abilities throughout the school year.
Qualifications:
- Active Indiana SLP license with CCC required.
- Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred.
- Skilled in conducting thorough speech-language evaluations.
- Comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal strengths.
- Passion for supporting nonverbal and life skills students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students in the school setting.
- Develop, implement, and review individualized plans in collaboration with other professionals.
- Work closely with another SLP, especially with students focused on nonverbal life skills.
- Document assessment results, progress, and communications efficiently.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to ensure holistic student support.
- Contribute to ongoing professional dialogue and program improvement.
