Pediatric Speech Pathology - Indianapolis, IN
Embark on a rewarding assignment supporting students in a K-12 environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract opportunity beginning April 1, 2026, and continuing through May 29, 2026. This engaging role involves working with a varied caseload, from one to up to a hundred students, as coverage for a medical leave. There is also the potential for renewal into the following school year.
Candidates will deliver high-quality therapy in a collaborative school setting, providing a mix of in-person and teletherapy services for students with diverse needs. The work week consists of 30 hours across four days, offering a structured schedule with predictability and balance.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Indiana SLP license required
- Experience or relevant certification in areas such as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, SLP-Pediatrics, School-based SLP or SLPA roles a plus
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and procedures is highly desirable
- Prior experience managing school caseloads of varying sizes
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech/language therapy to K-12 students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans addressing a range of communication disorders
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
- Maintain clear, compliant records and documentation
- Utilize technology for teletherapy and progress monitoring
