Desired Qualifications:
- Current Tennessee state license in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience with pediatric populations or in elementary school settings strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of therapy approaches and individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, teachers, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students onsite
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with local and federal guidelines
- Offer guidance and support to families and teachers regarding communication strategies
This position is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, providing consistency and routine beneficial to both staff and students. Your contributions will help shape positive educational outcomes while allowing you to develop professionally within a supportive school community.
