Desired Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Proficiency conducting speech and language therapy, evaluations, and participating in IEP/eligibility meetings
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school teams
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy services to elementary school students in person
- Assess, diagnose, and create tailored treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Conduct thorough evaluations and provide timely reports for eligibility and progress monitoring
- Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and families to support student success
- Participate in team meetings, IEP planning, and help determine strategies for effective communication support within the school setting
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
