Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Experience providing speech and language services in schools strongly desired
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, assessment tools, and therapeutic strategies for a diverse student population
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students exhibiting speech, language, or communication concerns
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique goals, in alignment with IEPs
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings
- Document progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with educators, families, and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations to help each student succeed academically and socially
- Offer professional guidance and resources to classroom teachers to facilitate communication development
