Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP license in the state of Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions both individually and in group settings
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress and carryover of skills
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward goals
- Maintain all required records in compliance with school and state regulations
