  • Active SLP license in the state of Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions both individually and in group settings
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress and carryover of skills
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward goals
  • Maintain all required records in compliance with school and state regulations
