Step into a rewarding role supporting students' communication needs across K-12 programs for the upcoming school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference from August 6, 2024, through May 22, 2025. Enjoy consistent hours, working 8:00 AM–3:00 PM each day (with a slight possibility of a 30-minute variance depending on your final school site for the day). Each workday includes two 30-minute unpaid breaks for your well-being and balance.
The ideal candidate is skilled in delivering speech-language services within a school setting. If you hold your SLP-CCC and thrive interacting with diverse student populations, this position will allow you to utilize your expertise in an environment that values your contribution.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for helping students succeed academically and socially
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students across multiple school sites
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations as required
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions
