Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP), with California certification for schools
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings, ideally with preschoolers
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive preschool assessments and developing individualized intervention plans
- Ability to manage a caseload of 17 children, providing clear communication with families and educational teams
- Comfortable working full-time, five days a week, with a daily schedule of approximately 7.33 hours
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to preschool-aged students
- Conduct thorough assessments, create relevant reports, and craft individualized goals
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support each child’s communication needs
- Provide case management (CM) for 17 students, ensuring timely assessments, progress monitoring, and family engagement
