Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs considered
- Previous experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within school environments
- Knowledge of IEP processes, AAC devices, and evidence-based therapy techniques
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in diverse school communities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in groups
- Assess students’ communication abilities and develop personalized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and create accurate, timely documentation
- Implement engaging, developmentally appropriate therapy activities
- Educate staff and families on communication strategies and progress
