Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLP or SLPA license valid in Texas
- ASHA CCC certification preferred for SLPs
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
- Strong communication, adaptability, and organization skills
- Passion for fostering communication skills and supporting student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Evaluate, document, and monitor progress on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and caregivers to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and timely communication with all stakeholders
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and consultation as needed
