School-Based SLP | Tomball, Texas
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. The assignment is available immediately through May 22, working full-time hours Monday through Friday.
You'll provide essential speech and language services, including evaluation, intervention planning, and therapy for students across a diverse age range. Working closely with educators, administrators, and families, you’ll be instrumental in helping students achieve their communication goals in an educational environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Texas SLP licensure is required
- SLP-CCC certification highly preferred
- Previous experience working within school settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload with diverse age groups (K-12)
- Passion for supporting student growth and success
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary team discussions
