Exciting opportunities are available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) to support students for the 2026–2027 school year in on-site school settings across the Houston area. Available campuses include elementary, middle, and high school placements across West, Central, South, and North/Northeast areas of Houston. Assignment dates run from July 30, 2026 through May 28, 2027, offering rewarding engagement throughout the academic year.
Requirements:
- Active Texas SLP or SLPA license (must provide screenshot upon application)
- SLPA applicants must hold an active license; supervision for initial licensure cannot be provided
- Previous school-based experience is required
- No SLP-CFs or remote options at this time; on-site presence is a must
- Must be able to complete and pay for required fingerprinting within three days of signing the contract
- Ability to purchase a laptop for work, with reimbursement provided
- Reliable transportation to respective campuses
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication interventions tailored to individual students
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to support student IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
- Participate actively in meetings and professional development as needed
