School Speech Language Pathologist - Cypress, TX
Exciting contract opportunities are available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in local schools for the 2026–2027 academic year. Multiple openings exist across West, Central, South, and North/Northeast areas near Cypress, TX, at both elementary and secondary school sites. These on-site roles offer the chance to make a significant impact on students’ communication skills and overall educational experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP or SLPA license is required (a current license screenshot must be provided with your application)
- SLPA applicants must hold a full, current license. Please note: supervision for licensure is not available for these openings
- At least one year of prior school-based experience is essential
- Only candidates ready for on-site work will be considered
- SLP Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates cannot be accommodated
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing speech therapy services to students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support individualized education plans
- Maintain documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to goal planning and student progress reviews
Pay for these positions is highly competitive, and the cost of purchasing a laptop for work will be fully reimbursed.
Positions are available at several school sites, including elementary and high school locations, with contracts running from late July through May.
