Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 preferred
- Knowledgeable in a broad range of speech and language disorders
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to create individualized therapy plans
- Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Provide direct therapy sessions individually and in small groups across multiple grade levels
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records and document student progress in alignment with school and district guidelines
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing expert input on students’ communication needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
