Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a valid Florida SLP license
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be in your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school settings highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and recordkeeping skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and elementary-age interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech and language therapy to elementary students, with an emphasis on individualized goals
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of communication disorders
- Contribute infrequently to IEP meetings and documentation, ensuring student progress is closely tracked
- Educate and consult with teachers and families about student needs and strategies for success
- Maintain accurate case notes and comply with school and state regulatory standards
- Engage with mentorship resources and professional development opportunities as available
