This role offers experience across multiple age groups and school types with flexible weekly hours distributed among several campuses:
- Renaissance Charter School at Tradition (31.5 hours/week)
- Tradition Preparatory High School (15 hours/week)
- Innovation Academy of Excellence in Collaboration with Tallahassee State College (1 hour/week)
- Union Park Charter Academy (16 hours/week)
- Four Corners Charter School (23-28 hours/week)
- Downtown Miami Charter School (4-5 hours/week, 2 days per week)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred; CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates also encouraged to apply
- Experience in school-based settings or strong interest in school SLP services
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive educational environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations, diagnose disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to students, individually and in small groups, aligned with IEPs and educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Document progress, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and participate in IEP meetings
- Travel between assigned schools as scheduled
